Police are at a home where a?possible explosive device was found in?Henrico.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal team is at a home in the 1900 block of Navion Street.
Detectives?went to the home shortly after 12 p.m. Friday to?serve a search warrant for narcotics. Inside,?they discovered an?81mm mortar shell sitting on a shelf on the second floor.
Police?called the explosives team?and evacuated the home, as well one house on each side.
The explosives team, upon examining the device, then called in a military team from Fort Belvoir in northern Virginia. The team is currently on its way to the scene.
