GTA 3 iPhone, Android supports PC mods

Rockstar has done a bang up job with the iOS and Android releases of Grand Theft Auto 3. Not only does it look and play great, but tinkerers have discovered it also plays nice with mods.

The best part is that you don't even have to make any illicit, warranty-voiding modifications to your iOS device (but we're not sure if that's the case for Android).

At the moment most tutorials show how to replace the game's cars with real-world models, but we're sure some crazier mods will show up eventually.

Analysts have predicted the GTA 5 release date will be this summer.
