5 October 2012 Video Games You Have To Play (Part 1: October 1st ...

As we pointed out yesterday, October 2012 is going to be a very busy month for gaming releases. So we have decided to split up our monthly ?5 Games You Have To Play? article into two parts. In Part 1, you can expect it to include the?top games from the 1st of October to the 16th.?

Resident Evil 6 (PS3, Xbox 360) ? October 2nd

If the most recent Resident Evil 6 demo is anything to go on, we can expect a different Resident Evil experience this time around. You can now move while shooting, which is extremely helpful because not only will the zombies attack you with weapons, new types of?enemies will shoot back, forcing you to use cover to your advantage. Once you start up the game, you?ll be able to play?through three different campaigns as either Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, or Jake Muller and they will all be accompanied by a partner that can either?be controlled by AI?or another person via co-op play.

Though?some of the new changes this time around?may be?a turn-off for some people, Resident Evil 6 will?no doubt?get the series back on track after the disappointing Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City earlier this year.

NBA 2K13 (PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii) ? October 2nd

Including Kinect functionality and three of the biggest stars in basketball today on the cover, NBA 2K13 looks to take the franchise even further than the fast selling and award-winning NBA 2K12 did. It will include a much better career mode, unique abilities for each player, right analog stick dribbling for more precise movements, and even the chance to play a match between the 2012 USA Men?s National Team and the 1992 Dream Team.

Sports fans who have already played through Madden NFL 13 and NHL 13 should definitely check this one out.

Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 (DS) ? October 7th

Marking the first time a Pokemon game in the main series has ever seen a direct sequel, Pokemon Black?2 and Pokemon White 2 take place 2 years after Pokemon Black and Pokemon White. Within those two years, three gyms have seen their leaders swapped out, Pokemon from?other regions have now made the trip to Unova, and N?returns with either Black Kyurem?or White Kyurem after he fuses his Zekrom or Reshiram with Kyurem. Though the gameplay hasn?t seen too many changes, you can still expect?to?be addicted?by the ?catch-em-all? formula for hours upon hours.

Dishonored (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) ? October 9th

What can be best described as a more stealth-oriented version of Bioshock, Dishonored looks to be one of the best games of the year. Set within the city of Dunwall, you play as?Corvo Atano, a former bodyguard framed for the murder of the Empress. As any good video game goes, you seek revenge against those who framed you, using a mix of stealth and your awesome supernatural powers.

We named it as our #2 Most Anticipated Game For The Rest Of 2012 and we couldn?t be more excited to get our hands on this game in just a few weeks time.

Doom 3 BFG Edition (PS3, PC, Xbox 360) ? October 16th

Though most people have already played all of the Doom games, Doom 3 BFG Edition is a must own for fans of the series. Featuring improved graphics and sound, a better checkpoint system, a new armour-mounted flashlight, the Resurrection of Evil expansion pack, and a new expansion titled The Lost Mission, this will be the best version of Doom 3 ever made. Add in the fact that Doom 1 and Doom 2 are included for free and you have a great $40 package on consoles (or $30 on PC).

Though we only highlighted 5 games, other titles like 007 Legends, Dance Central 3, Ragnarok?Odyssey, New Little King?s Story, Mugen Souls, and Silent Hill: Book Of Memories?more than deserve your attention during the first half of October.

Energy film for interior window...Does it work?

Perhaps, we should request a home-improvement forum? Anyway, it gets pretty hot here in Oklahoma, and the wife and I were discussion getting/trying that film they make for windows. Looking at putting it on the large bay windows that face the west. Hoping it may cut down some of the heat coming in through the large bay windows?

We don't really want any curtains, because it looks great the way it is. Anyway.....anyone ever tried that film before? Don't know how legit it is....

President Obama, Hillary More Responsible Than Any Video!

No video, no matter how accurate or insulting to the delusional pedophile prophet, was responsible for the recent American Embassy riots.

On the anniversary of 9/11 we had no hardening of the protection of our foreign embassies? Our disgracefully unarmed Marines, men who would willingly give up their lives to keep American territory from being violated, to keep any foreign flag from flying over America, might as well have been replaced by Boy Scouts?? WHY?

When Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton?s bought and paid for assistants,? realized they could breach the Embassy walls in Cairo without any resistance, the world got to see the results of Obama?s foreign policy love affair with the Muslim brotherhood.

When no Islamist bodies piled up as a result of their act of war because the American Embassy in Cairo had been purposely left disarmed by Hillary and Obama, the world got to see the results of Obama?s foreign policy love affair with the Muslim brotherhood.

When, hours later, the premeditated attacks on the American Embassy in Benghazi got underway,? and the Libyan ?protection? collapsed, leading to the death of our Ambassador,? the world got to see the results of Obama?s foreign policy love affair with the Muslim brotherhood.

Since then, with the help of a subservient media in full campaign mode for Obama, a video clip or some (accurate) Mitt Romney statements are used to deflect criticism of the Weakness-in-Chief,? and feed the attacks throughout the rest of the Muslim world.

There is an easy way for Obama to really prove his love affair for the Muslim brotherhood.

Now that the Israeli Prime Minister has been rebuffed in his latest attempt to rein in Iran?s nuclear quest,? and finds himself with no choice but to go it alone, I believe it will be Obama who attacks Israel to keep them from attacking Iran, claiming their not waiting for his (ineffective) policies,? and those of the UN, to bear fruit, necessitates his action.

He will claim the UN has to attack to keep the Muslim world from reacting.

America will not lead where American values are the goal.

Not under Obama, ever.

Obama?s America will do the bidding of the UN.

He will supply his Muslim brotherhood governments with all the logistical support needed to defeat Israel.

None of this should come as any surprise to anyone but the media and politicians, who never seem to believe our terrorists enemies when they say they are going to do what they are going to do!

The Muslim brotherhood wants to take over the world and destroy America.?It is their stated goal, and President Obama gives them billions in our American taxpayer dollars to get it done.

Iran wants the same goals, and its mad dog leader states so repeatedly,? calling for a Muslim caliphate and Sharia law to rule America and the world. President Obama waits for years as they get stronger and arm for their coming 12th imam to get out of his sewer and engulf the world in fire, from which they think they will emerge victorious.

Another powerful madman world leader states he will ?stand with the Muslims should political winds shift in an ugly direction.?

It is the one time Barack Hussein Obama spoke the truth.

Jame Avery is the starting pitcher. Avery pitched in Double-A in the Tigers system this year, he was 10-13 with a 4.73 ERA, 53 walks, 114 k in 158 innings.

The Germans (don't mention the war) (yeah, no one will get the reference) have Alex Burgos as starting pitcher. Alex also pitched in the Tigers system, in High-A last year, going 8-10, 4.90, 88 walks, 78 k in 121.1 innings.

I'd post the German lineup but there isn't many guys you will know, Toby Gardenhire, Ron Gardenhire's son, is playing second.

LOS ANGELES (AP) ? Kevin Costner, Amy Poehler, Bryan Cranston, Zooey Deschanel, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and other Emmy-nominated actors celebrated their success at a series of parties around Tinseltown.

Most began their evening at the Emmy Performers nominee reception Friday at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. That's where nominees received certificates acknowledging their acting achievements.

The nominated actors posed for a class photo, with many proudly holding their certificates above their heads.

"This is like graduation," said Elizabeth Moss, nominated for her work on "Mad Men."

"You get to meet so many people you might not get to see at the Emmys," beamed the newly blonde actress.

Also among the guests: Martha Plimpton, Loretta Devine, Mare Winningham, Julia Ormond and Eric Stonestreet. Cranston, Louis-Dreyfus and "Modern Family" star Ty Burrell hopped over to the Women In Film party in Beverly Hills after noshing on kale salad, roasted chicken and grilled skirt streak at the official Emmy reception.

The Emmy Awards will be presented Sunday at the Nokia Theatre and broadcast live on ABC.
